About SeaPort-NxG
SeaPort-NxG (Next Generation) is the U.S. Navy’s primary contracting vehicle for acquiring professional support services in engineering, technical, and programmatic disciplines. Managed by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), SeaPort-NxG is available for use by all NAVSEA Program Executive Offices, Directorates, and field activities, as well as other Navy and Marine Corps components.
SeaPort-NxG is a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract that supports a wide range of functional service areas. It enables flexible and cost-effective acquisition of services through task orders that may be issued on a fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, or time-and-materials basis.
The contract includes a five-year base period and a five-year option period, offering up to 10 years of performance. SeaPort-NxG is designed to promote efficiency, encourage competition among awardees, and ensure a streamlined acquisition process for mission-critical support.
